Welcome to GKSS’s sailing school! We offer many different kinds of courses at different levels for children, youth and adults.

Sailing Available for Everyone

We want to make it possible for even more people to make the fantastic experiences that sailing provides. We offer courses irrespective of age, experience or functional variation and every year more than a thousand children, youth and adults learn to sail under the leadership of our fantastic instructors.

The basis for our activities is our Marina and the Club House in Långedrag. We have sailing camps for youth on our own island, Aeolusön, in the southern archipelago of Gothenburg and in Långedrag. Our courses for adults are based both at Långedrag and at our summer club house, Korvetten, in Marstrand.

Bookings of courses and membership are to be made via our web shop. We do not take bookings via phone or mail.

Rules for cancelling - children and youth

On cancelling a camp on Aelusön and Långedrag, 80% of the fee is reimbursed up to 60 days prior to the camp. Cancellation at a later date is not reimbursed. In case of illness or injury a full reimbursement is given on presenting a doctor’s certificate.
